BACKGROUND
The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)
The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership ("CPTPP") is a Free Trade Agreement ("FTA") between 11 countries: Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. These countries are also members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).

The CPTPP was concluded on 23 January 2018 in Tokyo, Japan and signed on 8 March 2018 in Santiago, Chile.
​
Agreement was reached in March 2023 for the United Kingdom to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), an Asia-Pacific trade bloc The UK will be the first new member since the bloc was established in 2018 and the first European member. Other countries (including China) have applied to join or expressed an interest in doing so.

The CPTPP International Centre is an independent CPTPP centric Think Tank and Advisory organisation.
Our Mission is to create values to organisations and businesses through literacy, advisory and facilitation in the cross-border commerce, trade, finance, environment, technology and economic collaboration.
Shorten the learning curve by sharing more information, business experience and case studies on economic landscape, framework and business opportunities.

OBJECTIVES
The CPTPP International Centre is entrusted with the objectives to:

Enhance network to facilitate and provide advisory to cross-border collaboration and innovation for businesses, entrepreneurs and investors across CPTPP countries;

Build and sustain the cross-border trade, innovation, financial and environmental ecosystem across the member countries;

Promote cross border knowledge, talent exchange, trade and commerce, innovation and capital investment among the economies, businesses, Associations and organisations between CPTPP countries ;

Help businesses harness the free trade agreements and initiatives signed at the government level

Goh Seh Harn
VICE-CHAIRMAN
Mr Goh has 20 years of experience in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and China.
​
He has been involved in projects over US$5b. His broad experiences in business ranges from fund management, investment management, asset management, project management, to development management. Mr Goh had been engaged for professional roles as an Expert Witness in the Supreme Court of NSW Australia. He maintains his chartered surveyor status and operates a licensed fund management company.
​
As the Vice-Chairman, Mr Goh reviews the board directions on business demands in the ASEAN market as well as market access and business transformations.
Alice Chan
MANAGING
DIRECTOR
Ms Chan has 30 years of experience in Singapore, Greater China, APAC and Middle East markets. She was the Director of Business China tasked to lead the FutureChina and Go East teams.
Ms Chan worked for the Singapore Government agency International Enterprise (IE) Singapore as the Divisional Director (China Group) since 2014. She led teams in Singapore and China on regional projects as well as sectorial initiatives related to Digital Economy, technology collaboration and industry innovation.
​
Ms Chan has worked in both public and private sectors. She holds a Master of Business Administration and is currently the Executive Committee of the Enterprise Singapore Society.
​
As the the Managing Director, Ms Chan oversees the Executive Committee on all businesses related to the DEPA International Centre.
